Let's go Cudas! From taking advantage of a $400,000 ECHO grant to build a synthetic turf football field projected to save 4.5 million gallons of water and $30,000 in fertilizer, paint, and other costs every year to resurfacing its running track using $500,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds, we're proud to provide a state of the art home for this year's 2-0 New Smyrna Beach High School Barracudas while keeping city property taxes among the lowest in Volusia County. Next time you're there, be sure to pay a visit to the newly installed Wall of Fame under the home team bleachers displaying individual and team state championships dating all the way back to Ronald Fisher's 1976 heavyweight division weightlifting title.
