Learn about upcoming Corbin Park stormwater management improvements on Jan. 19

Presentation slide depicting the FEMA 100-year flood map overlaid on Corbin Park

Corbin Park residents are invited to attend a presentation of stormwater & drainage study findings and proposed flood reducing infrastructure improvements on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. in the Hidden Pines Clubhouse at 413 Shorewood Ln.

City engineers and consultant Tetra Tech have reviewed resident feedback, existing stormwater studies, surveyor field data, and used LiDAR technology to develop solutions that reduce flooding, quicken recovery times following rain events, and meet water quality and state agency requirements. Examples include piping ditches, additional inlets, upsizing pipes, and backflow prevention.

Corbin Park is generally defined as the neighborhood bounded by State Road 44 to the north, Turnbull Creek to the east, Magnolia Drive to the south, and a major canal east of Wild Orange Drive to the west.
