Alachua Conservation Trust is hosting a lunch-time workshop at the Brannon Center on Friday, Oct. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for BEACHFRONT SINGLE-FAMILY HOMEOWNERS who want to learn about potential tax incentives for participating in coastal conservation agreements to benefit sea turtles. They will have local experts discussing the current state of sea turtles in our area; presentations with examples of coastal conservation programs; and opportunities to determine how you can participate.
Since 1988, Alachua Conservation Trust, a non-profit land trust, has facilitated the conservation of over 53,000 acres of land and directly acquired 19,700 acres in Florida.
Lunch and refreshment will be provided.
RSVP IS REQUIRED at (352) 373-1078 by Sept. 25. Please visit https://www.alachuaconservationtrust.org/sea-turtle-conservation for more information.
