Public meeting on St. Johns River to Sea (SJR2C) Loop PD&E Study on November 15

Public alternatives meetings have been scheduled for the SJR2C Loop Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study. At these meetings, we will present the alternatives for a trail along U.S. 1, or alternative route from State Road (S.R.) 44 (Lytle Avenue) to Beville Road. Attendees may review study information, and discuss the design alternatives with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) staff at any time during the meetings. The meetings are being offered on two different days as indicated above. The same information will be provided at each meeting.

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. Persons wishing to express their concerns relative to FDOT compliance with Title VI may do so by contacting Jennifer Smith, FDOT District Five Title VI Coordinator, by email at The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
