SYNOPSIS: Dead Person – 2600 Block of Belmont Avenue.  A male was located deceased in his garage.  The death appeared to have been an apparent suicide, and the investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 18000 Block of Newport Sound Place.  Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 1990 S.R. 44.  The reporting person stated he located a wallet near the roadway.  The officer was unable to locate the owner at this time and the wallet was placed into evidence at the police department for safekeeping.

SYNOPSIS:  Dead Person – 700 Block of E. 7th Avenue.  A male was located deceased in his bed by a neighbor after he had not been heard from.  The death appeared to have been from natural causes and a report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Information – 246 Industrial Park Avenue (New Smyrna Beach Police Department).  Report taken to document the emptying of the prescription drug drop-off container located in the lobby of the police department.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 323 Flagler Avenue (Flagler Food and Fuel).  The victim advised an unknown person stole his cell phone while his was inside the business.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Suspicious Incident – 311 N. Orange Street (Stewart Marchman).  The reporting person contacted police after receiving a voicemail indicating a possible crime in Daytona Beach.  The information was passed on to Daytona Beach Police Department and a report was taken for documentation.
