SYNOPSIS:   Mentally Ill Person – 500 block of Mill Run Drive – A male was reported to be acting erratic breaking things with a baseball bat.  The male was taken into protective custody under a Baker Act and transported to Halifax Hospital.

SYNOPSIS:  Vehicle Accident – 2455 Boat Ramp Drive (Swoope Boat Ramp) – Two vehicles, no injuries, minor damage, hit and run.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – 491 East 3rd Avenue – A female reported a male battered her, her son, and assaulted her other son.  The 41 year old male, Daniel P. Berg was arrested and charged with Child Abuse, Battery, Assault, Depriving a victim emergency access. In addition to his already outstanding warrant for Violation for Probation.  He was transported to jail.

SYNOPSIS:  Vandalism – 300 Boatyard Street (Outriggers Restaurant) – Management reported an unknown male caused damage to the men’s restroom. The investigation is on-going.

SYNOPSIS: Suicidal Person – 299 South Riverside Drive – A female reported a suicidal male with a gun in the park.  When officers arrived in the area they heard a gunshot. They located the male who then shot himself.  Officers provided first aid until NSB Fire Rescue arrived on scene.  He was transported to Advent Health where he was later pronounced deceased.
