SYNOPSIS:   Animal Complaint – 1200 Block S. Orange St. – The reporting person contacted the police after seeing a facebook story about a dog that was found abused and discarded.  After an investigation, it was discovered the dog was abandoned, but no signs of abuse were ever observed.  The animal was discovered to be in good health and cared for.  A report was completed for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Vehicle Accident – E. 2nd Av. / S. Cooper St. – Two vehicles, minor damages, no injuries, hit and run.

SYNOPSIS:  Warrant Arrest – 100 Block Flagler Av. – Officers made contact with a female who had two active warrants for her arrest for Failing to Appear for a DUI and a Bond Violation.  The warrants were confirmed and Linda Mason, female, 54 years old, was placed under arrest.  She later complained of a medical condition and was taken to a Hospital where she was admitted.

SYNOPSIS: Vehicle Accident – 813 E. 24th Av. – Single vehicle struck a mailbox, no injuries, minor damages, hit and run.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest – 811 Ocean Av. – Officers responded for a disturbance between a male and a female.  After an investigation, Robert Whidden, male, 32 years old, was placed under arrest for Simple Battery.  He was taken to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Agency Assist – 313 Julia St. – An officer located an unoccupied vehicle that was stolen from Edgewater.  An Edgewater Officer responded to the scene and recovered the vehicle.  A report was completed for documentation.
