SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 3155 SR 44 (Walmart).  While reviewing video surveillance, Loss Prevention observed two males steal numerous shopping carts last month.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Shoplifting – 3155 SR 44 (Walmart).  While reviewing video surveillance, Loss Prevention observed a male steal numerous sporting good items earlier this month.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 700 Block Canal St.  Four vehicles, moderate damage, minor injuries and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Fraud – 2051 Pioneer Trail.  Victim advised he electronically sent a male money to purchase a vehicle through Facebook.   After receiving the funds, the suspect stopped communicating with the victim and did not provide the victim the vehicle.  Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Complaint Affidavit – 301 South Myrtle Av (Lexington Place).  Officers assisted The Department of Children and Families with an investigation.   During the course of the investigation, it was determined an employee had abused a resident.  A complaint affidavit was forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office for review.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – 125 Park Blvd. A 59 year old male, William Fix, was placed under arrest for battery on a person 65 or older.  He was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.
