SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 100 N. Atlantic Av. (7-Eleven) – The reporting person stated that a male took beer from the business and failed to pay for the item.  Information was collected and a report was completed.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 1200 S. Myrtle Av. (NSB Middle School) – The victim stated that someone stole her bicycle from the school.  Information was collected and a report was completed.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Assist Agency – 400 Block Howard Av. – Officers responded in reference to a well-being check.  It was determined the resident could be in distress and NSBFD needed to force entry in to the home.  A report was completed to document the damage to the residence.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – Julia St. / Rush St. – The reporting person stated that a known male made suicidal statements to her.  The male was located and after an investigation, he was taken in to protective custody under Baker Act Criteria.  He was transported to Halifax Hospital without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 376 N. Airport Rd. – The reporting person located a sweatshirt in the road.  The sweatshirt was taken to NSBPD for safekeeping and a report was completed for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Warrant Arrest – 2804 Blue Shores Way – Officers made contact with a female who had an active warrant for her arrest for Violation of Probation.  The warrant was confirmed and Alexis Harapas, female, 23 years old, was placed under arrest.  She was taken to VCBJ without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest – S.R. 44 / Eddie Rd. – An officer conducted a traffic stop and made contact with an occupant who had an active warrant for her arrest for Failing to Appear in Court.  She was also found to be in possession of cannabis and cannabis paraphernalia.  The warrant was confirmed and Ciara Place-Warren, female, 20 years old, was placed under arrest.  She was charged accordingly and transported to VCBJ without incident.
