SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 4th Street/Live Oak Street.  The reporting person found a bicycle near the intersection.  The officer was unable to locate the owner and the bicycle was placed into evidence at the police department for safekeeping.

SYNOPSIS:   Missing Person – 1104 Julia Street.   The reporting person advised her granddaughter ran away yesterday and she has been unable to locate her.   Officers later located and returned her, and a report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – S.R. 44/I-95.  A single vehicle lost control and struck a tractor that was parked on the side of the roadway, minor damage, no injuries, and no citations issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – 1100 Block of Palmetto Street.  A male was acting erratically refusing to take prescribed mental health medication.  The male was placed into protective custody (Baker Act) and transported to Halifax Hospital without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Police Assist Other Agency – 314 Hammond Street.  Several officers responded to the area to assist the Volusia Sheriff’s Office apprehend several suspect involved in a burglary to a residence.

SYNOPSIS:  Sex Offense – 1100 N. Atlantic Avenue (North Beach Community Park).  An officer received a call from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in regards to a victim in there jurisdiction stating she was sexually battered in the area of the park.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 1900 Block of S.R. 44.  Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:   Burglary (Vehicle) – 2020 N. Peninsula Avenue.  The reporting person advised an unknown person entered his unsecured vehicle and stole several items.  The investigation is ongoing.
