SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 900 Block of S. Dixie Freeway.  Single vehicle ran off the roadway, moderate damage, moderate injuries, and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:   Dead Person – 200 Block of Quay Assisi.   A female was found deceased by a friend in the backyard pool area.  The death appeared be an accidental drowning, and the investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – 246 Industrial Park Avenue (New Smyrna Beach Police Department).   Officers made contact with a female in the parking lot, who been harming herself and was acting erratically.   The female was placed into protective custody (Baker Act), and transported to the Halifax Hospital.

SYNOPSIS:  Intoxicated Person (Transient) – 550 N. Causeway (Buena Vista Park).  A male was located in the park highly under the influence and unable to care for himself.  The male was placed into protective custody (Marchman Act), and transported to Advent Health by EVAC.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – 400 Block of Luna Bella Lane.  A female was observed harming herself and making suicidal statements.  She was placed into protective custody (Baker Act), and transported to the Halifax Hospital.

TIME OCCURRED: 1314

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 170 N. Causeway (New Smyrna Boat Ramps).  The reporting person advised an inflatable paddle board with several other items were left on the boat ramp’s dock, and have been there all day.  The officer was unable to locate the owner, and the items were placed into evidence at the police department for safekeeping.
