SYNOPSIS:  Dead Person – 100 Cunningham Drive.  A male was found deceased in his backyard by a family member.  After further investigation it appears to be an apparent suicide.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Assist Other Agency – 246 Industrial Park Avenue (New Smyrna Beach Police Department).  An officer assisted the Volusia Sheriff’s Office with conducting a breath test for a male they arrested for driving under the influence.  A report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 2078 S.R. 44 (AutoZone).  The reporting person advised a bicycle has been behind the business for a couple days.  The officer was unable to locate the owner at this time and the bike was placed into evidence for safekeeping.

SYNOPSIS:  Disturbance (Domestic) – 1400 Block of S. Dixie Freeway.  A male and a female were involved in a verbal altercation.  No violence or threat of violence occurred and a report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash (Hit and Run) – 214 Flagler Avenue (Hampton Inn).  Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, and the at-fault driver left the scene without leaving required information.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Trespass Warning – 512 Flagler Avenue (Springhill Suites). A male was issued a trespass warning at the request of management.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 207 Fairgreen Avenue.  The victim advised an unknown person stole his headset sometime in the past two days.  The victim was able to provide a possible suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
