CASE NUMBER:  210500034

TIME OCCURRED: 0516

SYNOPSIS:  Suspicious Incident – 3155 S.R. 44 (Walmart).  Property was located on a prisoner that the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office had in custody.  The property appears to have been stolen from Walmart, but could not be confirmed.  The officer took custody of the property and the investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Recovered Stolen License Plate – S.R. 44/Mission Drive.  Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that pulling a boat with a stolen license plate on the trailer.  After further investigation, it was determined the license plate was not stolen, but a misunderstanding with the purchase of the boat.  The license plate was removed from NCIC/FCIC and a report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:   Missing Person – 35 Fairgreen Avenue (Hidden Lakes Golf Club).  The reporting person advised a known male has been missing for over a week and has turned all forms of communication off.  The behavior is not normal and the reporting person is concerned.  The male was entered into NCIC/FCIC as missing and the investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS: Burglary – 500 Brooks Street #1.  The victim advised a known male entered her residence without permission and stole money from her.  The victim did not wish to pursue charges at this time and a report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS: Traffic Crash (Hit and Run) – 521 Flagler Avenue (Wild Side Clothing).  Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, and the at-fault driving left the scene without providing required information.  The investigation is ongoing.
