SYNOPSIS: Misdemeanor Arrest (Transient) – 162 N. Causeway (New Smyrna Boat Ramps).  A 34 year old male, James Lynn, was placed under arrest for trespassing after warning.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – 200 Roberts Street #77.  A 50 year old male, Duane Kelley, was placed under arrest for having an open warrant for his arrest out of Volusia County for failure to appear.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 225 Caryota Court.  The reporting person advised an unknown person entered a construction site and stole copper wire sometime during the night.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Animal Bite – Evergreen Street/Ocean Avenue.   The reporting person advised she was bitten by a loose dog while walking her dog.  A report was taken by Animal Control for further investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – S.R. 44/Wild Orange Drive.  Two vehicles, moderate damage, no injuries, and one citation issued. .

SYNOPSIS:  Battery (Domestic) – 3062 Neverland Drive.  The victim advised that he was struck by a known female during an argument.  The known female was not on scene at the time of the report, and a complaint affidavit was completed.

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 246 Industrial Park Avenue (New Smyrna Beach Police Department).  A container of ammunition was turned in to the lobby of the police department, and it was placed into evidence for destruction.
