SYNOPSIS:  Vehicle Accident 11304 Lymestone Court – Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, hit and run.

SYNOPSIS: Animal Bite – 684 Mary Avenue (Pettis Park) – A juvenile was bit by a dog at this location.  The dogs were placed under quarantine.  This report was completed to document the incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Shoplifting – 2112 State Road 44 (Tractor Supply Store) – A male advised that four males took several items from the store failing pay for the items and left prior to police arrival. A BOLO was released and the investigation is on-going.

SYNOPSIS: Felony Arrest – 400 East 2nd Avenue (Norwoods) – A  25 year old male, Connor W. Veach, was arrested on the charges of Battery, Vandalism, Carrying a Concealed weapon and Possession of Fentanyl. He was transported to Advent Health for medical treatment and then to jail.

SYNOPSIS: Found Property – Flagler Avenue and Cooper Street – A wallet was found at this location and turned into NSBPD for safekeeping.  The owner was notified.

SYNOPSIS: Felony Arrest – 193 North Causeway (Merk’s Bar) – A 22 year old male, Timothy J. Gooknecht, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and injuries.  He was transported to jail.

SYNOPSIS: Felony Arrest – 611 Greenlawn Street – A 29 year old male, Robert Sherrod, was arrested for Domestic Battery, Aggravated Assault, Theft, and Depriving a victim from 911. He was transported to jail.

SYNOPSIS: Trespass Warning – 2650 North Dixie Freeway (City of New Smyrna Beach Building Department) – A male was discovered camping on the premise. He was issued a trespass warning and released without incident.
