SYNOPSIS: Trespasser – 201 S. Riverside Dr. (Manatee Park) W/M (Transient) was issued a trespass warning from the park after learning he had been sleeping in the park.

SYNOPSIS: Domestic Disturbance – 715 E. 2nd Ave. A verbal disturbance occurred between two adults.  The incident did not become physical and it was determined to be non-criminal.

SYNOPSIS: Battery – 1200 S. Myrtle Ave (New Smyrna Beach Middle School). A disturbance occurred between two juveniles.  Each juvenile claimed the other struck them.  The investigation in ongoing.

SYNOPSIS: Mentally Ill Person – Canal St. / Citron St. A female was found to meet Baker Act criteria and was taken into protective custody. She was transported to the Halifax Hospital.

SYNOPSIS: Traffic Crash – 1780 SR 44 (Wawa). Two vehicles involved, minor damage, no injuries were reported. One citation issued.

SYNOPSIS: Theft – 1200 S. Myrtle Ave (New Smyrna Beach Middle School). A juvenile stole a cell phone from a fellow student at school.  The parent of the victim did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

SYNOPSIS: Found Property – N. Dixie Frwy / Wayne Ave. A wallet was found in the area, but the owner was unable to be contacted. The wallet was subsequently submitted as safekeeping at NSBPD.
