SYNOPSIS: Traffic Crash – N. Dixie Freeway/Wayne Avenue.  Two vehicles, moderate damage, minor injuries, and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest (Transient) – Flagler Avenue/S. Pine Street.  A 64 year old male, Edmund Arnold, was placed under arrest for having an open warrant out of Volusia County for failure to appear in reference to retail theft.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 1990 S.R. 44 (Buddy’s Home Furnishings).  The reporting person advised a known female has failed to pay for or return several items she rented from the business, and has been given multiple notices.  A complaint affidavit was completed on the female.

SYNOPSIS: Police Assist Other Agency – 2568 La Boca Drive.  Officers stood by while the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department forcefully entered the residence to assist a female who was having a medical issue.

SYNOPSIS:  Suspicious Incident – 600 Skyline Drive (Epic Flight Academy).  A report was taken to document a student making gestures indicating a threat to the business.   The business did not think the threat was credible and only wanted it documented.

SYNOPSIS:  Stolen Vehicle – 2510 N. Dixie Freeway (Enterprise Rent-A-Car).  The reporting person stated a known female rented a vehicle from the business and has not returned it.  The business has made several attempts to contact the female with no response.  The vehicle was entered into NCIC/FCIC as stolen and a complaint affidavit was completed on the female.
