SYNOPSIS: Theft – 214 Sams Avenue.  The victim advised an unknown person stole several unsecured tools from the construction area sometime during the night.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Vandalism – 170 N. Causeway (New Smyrna Boat Ramps).  A known male vandalized the parking kiosk after his credit card got stuck in the machine.  A complaint affidavit was completed on the male.

SYNOPSIS:  Fraud – 3155 S.R. 44 (Walmart).  The victim advised an unknown person used his identity to obtain a credit card from Walmart and purchased several items.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 413 Jessamine Avenue.  The reporting person advised she located a purse on the front porch.  The officer was unable to locate the owner at this time and the purse was placed into evidence at the police department for safekeeping.

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 3155 S.R. 44 (Walmart).  The reporting person found a wallet while inside the business.  The officer was unable to locate the owner at this time and the wallet was placed into evidence at the police department for safekeeping.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash (Hit and Run) – 699 N. Dixie Freeway (Brilliance Assisted Living).  Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, and the at-fault vehicle left the scene without providing required information.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – Live Oak Street/4th Street.  A 48 year old male, Patrick Webb, was placed under arrest for having an open warrant out of Volusia County for sale and delivery of a controlled substance.  He was transported to the jail without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Battery (Domestic) – 124 Landis Street.  The victim advised a known male struck and choked her, while refusing to let her leave the residence or call for help.  The male left the scene prior officers arrival.  Officers were unable to locate the male and a complaint affidavit was completed.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – Flagler Avenue/Peninsula Avenue.  A golf cart took a turn to fast, causing it to roll onto its side.  There was minor damage, minor injuries, and one citation issued.
