SYNOPSIS:   Domestic Disturbance – 509 Sinnka St. – Officers responded for a disturbance between a male and a female.  After an investigation, it was determined that a crime did not occur.  A report was completed for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Battery – Horton St. / E. 2nd Av. – Officers made contact with a male who stated he was battered by a known female.  After an investigation a charging affidavit was completed against Lucyndia Smith, female, 36 years old, for Simple Battery.

SYNOPSIS:  Found Property – 615 3rd Av. (CVS) – The reporting person stated that they located a book bag on the side of the road.  The property was taken to NSBPD and submitted for safekeeping.  It was later discovered this property was stolen from a vehicle.  See below case number 181000015.

SYNOPSIS:  Domestic Disturbance – 2818 Nordman Av. – Officers responded for a disturbance between a male and a female.  After an investigation, it was determined that a crime did not occur.  A report was completed for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Vehicle Burglary – 726 3rd. Av. (The Little Theatre) – The victim stated that someone broke the window to her vehicle and stole a book bag.  Information was collected and a report was completed.  The stolen property was recovered and the investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Mentally Ill Person – S. Dixie Frwy. / Smith St. – Officers made contact with a male throwing objects in the road at passing vehicles.  After an investigation, the male was taken in to protective custody under Baker Act Criteria.  He was transported to Halifax Hospital without incident.

SYNOPSIS:  Burglary Residence – 445 N. Myrtle Av. – The victim stated that someone broke in to her residence earlier in the afternoon.  Information was collected and a report was completed.  The investigation is ongoing.

SYNOPSIS:  Felony Arrest – 701 Downing St. – Officers responded for a disturbance between a male and a female.  After an investigation, William Potts, male, 32 years old, was placed under arrest for Simple Battery, False Imprisonment, Preventing Use of 911 and a Writ of Bodily Attachment for Failing to Pay Child Support.  He was transported to the Jail without incident.
