SYNOPSIS: Disturbance (Domestic) – 455 Bouchelle Drive #220.  Two females were involved in verbal argument.  No violence or threat of violence occurred and a report was taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Vandalism – 533 Canal Street.  The reporting person advised an unknown person damaged the brake lines to his work vehicle sometime over the weekend. Ongoing investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Trespass Warning (Transient) – 162 N. Causeway (New Smyrna Beach Boat Ramp).  A male was observed in a restricted area of the park and issued a trespass warning.

SYNOPSIS:  City Ordinance Violation – 107 Lytle Avenue.  A vehicle was observed on city right-of-way unregistered and in violation of City Ordinance.  A 10 Day Notice was placed on the vehicle for follow up.

SYNOPSIS:  Theft – 2051 Pioneer Trail #44.  The victim advised an unknown person stole his unsecured bicycle from the front of his residence sometime during the weekend.

SYNOPSIS:  Civil Complaint – 2555 S.R. 44 (New Smyrna Chrysler).  The reporting person advised that they are missing a vehicle from their car lot and believed it was stolen.  The vehicle was located by officers on a used car lot in Port Orange, and it was determined to be a civil matter between the two businesses.  Report taken for documentation.

SYNOPSIS:  Trespass Warning (Transient) – 727 Canal Street (AK Food Store).  A male returned to the store after being issued a trespass warning.  The male caused no problems, and left the store without incident.  A complaint affidavit was completed on the male.

SYNOPSIS:  Information – 201 Sandy Lane.  An elderly male advised he believes a known male was trying to take advantage him and did not feel comfortable about the situation.  No crime committed at this time, and report taken for possible exploitation of the elderly investigation.

SYNOPSIS:  Assault (Domestic) – 3155 S.R. 44 (Walmart).  The victim advised a known male chased her down and struck her vehicle with his fist while she was inside it, causing a window to break.  The male was no longer on scene when officers arrived, and they were unable to locate him at this time.  A complaint affidavit was completed on the male.

SYNOPSIS:  Traffic Crash – 3000 Block of S.R. 44.  Two vehicles, minor damage, no injuries, and one citation issued.

SYNOPSIS:  Misdemeanor Arrest – 709 Edward Street.  A 60 year old male, Derrick Martin, was placed under arrest for simple battery (domestic).  He was transported to the jail without incident.
