The Police Care program is a service provided by the police department that allows our citizens, regardless of age, who live alone, to have daily contact with an employee of the police department. The program is available to all residents of the City of New Smyrna Beach.
Active members of the Police Care program are expected to call the police department daily between the hours of 8 a.m. to Noon. If a member fails to call, an officer may be sent to the house to check their well-being.
