The New Smyrna Beach Police Department welcomes individuals that would like to volunteer their time to benefit their city.
Volunteers for the Records Unit perform essential clerical and general duties, such as, greeting lobby visitors, routing telephone calls, data entry and filing reports. Your time is a great benefit to the records clerks and police officers in keeping up with the department’s records management system.
All volunteers who wish to participate will have to pass a background check, to include a drug screening. Once approved, volunteers will receive specialized training for the tasks that are assigned.
Interested persons may complete the volunteer application and return it to the New Smyrna Beach Police Department.
