Mission Statement
To maintain and enhance the Retail and Service Centers that are the character amenity for the entire City and surrounding region. To identify and implement Public Investment or Policy that will induce quality private investment response in order to reach the desired character and economic potential of the area.
Responsibilities
The Community Redevelopment Department administers the projects, programs, and activities of the adopted CRA Redevelopment Plan and provides technical and administrative support to the New Smyrna Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.
The Community Redevelopment Department is also responsible for:
- Administration of the Redevelopment Plan
- Community Infrastructure Projects
- Development Assistance
- Property Improvement Grants
- Promotion of the Redevelopment Area
