The Golf Course is located on the mainland, is easily
accessible and is in excellent condition. There are blue,
white, gold and red tees available, and the course, using
the white tees, is 6,200 yards long and was designed by Donald
Ross. Yearly and summer-only memberships are available as
well as daily rates for 9 or 18 holes.
The course
is one of only a few that does not require the use of a cart,
although carts are available for rental if desired. The Pro
Shop is well stocked from golf clubs to clothing to shoes
to first aid supplies and sunscreen. The employees are knowledgeable
about golf and can be of great assistance and the golf Pro
is available for reasonably priced lessons. Children's lessons
are also available.
Tournaments
are held at the course throughout the year, both pro and amateur.
Golf Clubs can be rented and full driving range facilities,
including chipping, putting and sand trap facilities, are
available. Reduced rates are available for twilight golfing
and tee times can be scheduled ahead seven days. The
golf course is home to the ClubHouse Grille Restaurant, which has
weekly lunch specials and a beer and wine license.
