The New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport/Jack Bolt Field, located at the northern end of the city, is owned and operated by the City of New Smyrna Beach and is designated as a general aviation transport airport. The airport is used frequently by area flight schools to conduct flight-training activities. Airfield facilities are situated on approximately 770 acres of land and currently accommodate 160,000 annual aircraft operations and 160 based aircraft. Facilities consist of three intersecting general aviation asphalt runways with a lighted primary runway having non-precision instrument approach capability.
