When preparing for evacuation it is best to remember the following:

Know where you are going (family, friends, hotel, or public shelter)

Take a map showing two routes to reach your destination

Notify family, friends, and caregivers of your location

Secure your home and property

Take your emergency supplies

2. I have a friend/family member that may qualify to be a Person with Special Needs (PSN), How do I find out about this?

3. When should I evacuate?

You should evacuate if you:

Live in a storm surge zone

Live in a low-lying or flood prone area

Live in a mobile home or recreational vehicle

Require a respirator or other electric-dependent medical equipment
