The Police Care program is a service provided by the police department that allows our citizens, regardless of age, who live alone, to have daily contact with an employee of the police department. The program is available to all residents of the City of New Smyrna Beach.
Active members of the Police Care program are expected to call the police department daily between the hours of 8 a.m. to Noon. If a member fails to call, an officer may be sent to the house to check their well-being.
If you wish to become an active member of the Police Care program, you can download the Police Care Application and return it to the police department.
If you would like additional information about this program, please contact the Records Division Supervisor by email.
