We have reports that the tornado damaged two dozen houses and downed power lines; fortunately, only minor injuries have been reported. Due to the downed power lines, US-1 is closed from Nova in Port Orange to Industrial in New Smyrna Beach. Parents in the Isleboro area should NOT take children to bus stops at this time as many roads are covered in debris and downed power lines.
